I have to add state symbols to this word equation

2K + 2H20(l) ----->2KOH + H2(g)
2(potassium) + 2(water) -----> 2( potassium hydroxide) + hydrogen

I know that the water is a liquid and hydrogen a gas but I ain't sure about the salt solution and potassium.
