sciatic pain improving. . . finally :-)

Hi all,
i just thought i would post up that after a year of severe nerve pain and 13 weeks post op, the pain has finally started to subside, im still taking lyrica 200mg daily, but over the last few days ive felt an improvement. I felt the pain would never go away but it has gone from a level 8-9 down to a 6. You dont see many success stories on here so just thought i would post up that it is possible to feel an improvement and some normality again. I hope it continues and hope others start to feel improvements aswell. it appears there is actually light at the end of the tunnel.
 
Glad you are doing better it lets me know there is hope .i am 17 weeks post from a l-3 to a s-1 fusion and i have been taking lyrica to. 150 mgs a day.i have only been taking it for about 2 weeks . How long does it take before the lyrica starts to help. Thanks for any input . Jack
 
There is hope after surgery?? I had 2 L5 S1 surgeries in a period of 7 months. After the first one I was feeling much better at 6 wks....it started hurting again at 4 months...disc herniated again....2nd surgery...I am 6 wks. out and freaking out. I am in such severe pain. I have to go back to work in 4 wks. and I can't imagine it. I can't even load the dishwasher or anything else. I am still taking Lortab. How long were each of you on pain meRAB after surgery? Does anyone keep this pain forever??
Good luck to both of you. BTW Lyrica did not work on me at all plus I gained 15 lbs! I stopped taking it.
