Schwinn Collegiate Bicycle 1974, chain size?

I have a Schwinn Collegiate bicycle, circa 1974.
What chain size do I need to get for that? Where do I get the chain? How do I put the chain on?
 
It should use the standard 3/32" mutispeed chain. The 8, 9, and 10 speed chains are narrower. You can get a chain for cheap at Walmart along with the chain breaker.
