school vs the army what you think?

i was going to go to the army full time but i think im just going to stick around here and then go to the national gaurds so i can stick around for school and try to be a cop sound good?
 
my friends in the marines and was a MP military police and now hes out after 10 years and is a detective the hired him right off the bat because of his military back round if you join the army and want to be a cop go MP you will be a cop faster than going to school.
 
why not do both? You can join the reserves and become an MP and still go to school. With the military training it will look better. Or you can just go active duty and get the money from the G.I. bill to help you pay for college and then go to school later on down the line. Just depends. you should talk to a ARMY recruitor
