I am a 17-year-old junior in high school. I work at a local restaurant, earning minimum wage. I started working on the second week of October.
On my first week, I only asked to work for two days, saturdays and sundays. Then after a few weeks, I asked for Friday nights (3:00 right after school till 9:00). Weeks later, my manager added Thursday nights. I told her I'll try to work these days. This previous month, she ruined my whole schedule because she makes me work for 5 days (only mondays and tuesdays or wednesdays off).

Here is my schedule for this week:
Sunday: 5am - 3pm
Monday: off
Tuesday: off
Wednesday: 4pm-9pm
Thursday: 4pm-9pm
Friday: 4pm-9pm
Saturday: 6am-3pm

This week I have a total of 34 hours working. Regular school day is 6 hours. Therefore, I spend 30 hours in school in one week. I work more than I go to school.

What should I do? What does child labor law say about this?
Sue? File case?
