I haven't yet contacted the school about this surprise issue since they are closed until Tuesday so I'm just trying to get some peace of mind until then. Before the summer 1 term began I went to the financial aid office at my school and asked if I had enough financial aid for summer courses. They told me yes, I had enough and in fact could take more than one course if I wanted. I only took one course though and now that the term is over I went online to see if my grade was in and I got an error message saying there was a hold on my record to due the unpaid balance of the course. There's was some criptic message that contained the words 'grants removed'. Does any one know what's wrong here? Could I possibly owe this money when the school told me I had more than enough financial aid?
