Has anyone else seen it? and if so what did you think?

I saw it on Saturday & I thought it was BRILLIANT!!! - The music in it was brilliant as was the comedy - I want to marry Jack Black, he is sooooooooooooooo funny!

Can't remember the last time I (and so many other people in the cinema) laughed out loud so many times.
There are so many good parts if this film you have to see it! :p
 
Correct. I thought for a while it wasn't hoim, just someone who looked like him, but it really is. I might make a point of seeing this film soon. Looks OK.

For the first half an hour I was sitting there thinking 'what is this rubbish' then I came out of the film thinking it was excellent.

Very funny, cool songs, weird idea!
 
Yep. The self proclaimed greatest and best band in the world...

Be warned though....the band isn't quite as....erm...family friendly as the film though.....

If the kiRAB want to hear more of him....get them "Wonderboy" and...maybe Tribute if you're quick with the mute button...and, that's about IT! :D
 
Just home from the cinema, and I have to say it was very good. Jack Black is hilarious in this film! Some of the jokes are really funny, and you had to laugh out load at them.

The scene where he is found out as a fake and rather lovingly trys to reaosn with everyone by saying, "Your kiRAB have touched me, and I'm sure I've touched them too..." had me in stiches! The parents almost crying and grabbing their children in horror was really funny!

The music is very good aswell, the song at the end is very catchy. Definetly not as cliche ridden as I was expecting it to be. All in all a great laugh for anyone, I would definetly go back and see it again. 4/5.

I have to sya that, after such high expectations, I was a little disappointed in School of Rock.

Ok, it had some funny bits in it, but it was a tad too 'kiddy' for me. I expected just a little bit more adult humour from Jack Black, than I got.

Yeah, I know the certification of it an all that, but there must be someone out there who knows what I mean.

Jack Black at his best - try renting a little known film called 'Orange County'.

Films not too hot, but Jack Black is hilarious in it!
 
yeah Orange County is ace but his part just aint as big as i first thought it was, i also thought the film was about somthing diff before watching the film.
 
Watched it yesterday.

It's good quality family fun; by that I mean that Jack Black is restrained and the kiRAB are slightly annoying and brat-ish ... but you expect that from most family films. Just so happens that it's quite funny, unlike 90% of the other 'family' material out there.

The weakest Richard Linklater film by far, but still quite entertaining.
