I'm graduating from High School In 2011 (may) in U.S on a Student Visa.
The reason why I moved here for 6 years was because my was very sick and she had to have treatment here. My grades are fairly good. 3.5 GPA and SAT scores of 1800 and 1900.
My visa is going to expire in less than 8 months. I'm 17 at the time, and have been here since I was 11. I came here from time to time to visit family when I was younger. I applied to York university in Ontario, Canada. So lets say I get accepted, which Im hoping I will! Is it easy to get a student visa in Canada if I''ve gotten accepted to their school in Ontario?
Money wise I'm good. My family is pretty well off money wise in Mexico, thats why we could afford to stay here so long and pay for my mothers treatment. I have my own bank account which hold around 600-650 thousand dollars (school fund given to me by my grandparents/ parents and my savings).
My parents don't want me to go away to canada but i really don't want to go back to Mexico. I do have property over there, 2 houses and a small ranch house that I received from my grandfather when he died 2 years ago.
Yes, thats my story. I know money is an IMPORTANT factor to get student visas, so do you think I will meet the requirements?
Oh and also will I need to go back to Mexico and leave from there or leave from here if i'm still on my visa.
thank you.
