School Dance!!!!!!!!!???????????

Ok so I don't know if I should attend my school dance or not. I don't have a date, so I don't need to be there. So pretty much I don't like to dance (I can't dance, i feel out of place, etc.) so when I go to dances I usually just chill and talk to friends, which feels a bit akward (but I do have a friend who doesn't dance either, so its all good). But the thing is I do like to get all dresed up and wear a dress and I have this really cute backless dress that I really really want to wear.

So I couldn't decide, so I'm asking you...should I go to the dance or just skip it? thanks
 
i was the same as u...embarassed,shy,u feel lyk ppl watch u wen u r dancing..same wit me...im 13 rite now... wen we have dances at our skool i go but i never dance cuz im shy...but 1 day i waz lyk dats it no more of this effening crap...n just danced...i found this girl alone walking round n told her if she wants 2 dance n just danced...all u got 2 do iz go side 2 side,n dats it...simple once u do it...hope dis helps
 
if it's a formal then probably not. it's more fun to "boycott" it with your other friends who don't like to dance.

if it's a non-formal then go and then stand around and make fun of other people.

that's what i would do.
