Ok,
So I'm hoping to be a lot more mobile with my job shortly so I am looking for a full featured phone with email/websurfing/etc so that I can work from anywhere. I am basically set on a touch screen and am stuck in a contract with Verizon. here are my needs for the phone:
Reliable (doesnt crash every 5 seconds, losing battery power doesnt wipe the memory or anything crazy like that)
good phone quality, it is a phone after all
full web support as well as support for ssh (is this possible, i assume it must be)
touch screen (for browsing simplicity as well as other things, this rules out the Q but if you have a good argument for not needing a touch screen ill listen)
general usability ?(ie can i watch divx videos, stream video or whatever)
right now I am leaning more towards the 6700 especially with the hacks for audio volume and enabling the wifi radio and the phone radio at the same time and the hacks to enable it as a modem.
Also, I am by nature a very technical person, so I am not shy at all about any hacks I may need to do to get my phone to work optimally such as those described above.
Currently I have the lg8100 and I am less then impressed both in call quality and dropped call, and plus overall I think its too bulky for what it does (obviously a big pda phone isnt a problem)
thanks
