Im 17 years old 5'9'' and 145 pounds. I have been told by a doctor that I have poor circulation in my hands and feet. this started my sophomore year when i noticed that my hands were oddly bluish looking after I had been out in the cold. Now a year later I am experiencing new symptoms that I am worried are related.
After long periods of sitting or laying down i get up and I get an amazing sensation of heavy headedness. I see stars and everything.
Furthermore Ive been getting these sudden onsets of hazy vision and blurry auras accompanied by heavy headedness in the back of my head. I get so dizzy that i feel as though i need to control my breathing or I will pass out at times.
These happen mostly after physical activity or prolonged periods of laughing. Sometimes these incidences last several hours, othertimes they last only minutes. During the really long ones I find that I am sensitive to light and sound.
I'll definently say that i dont have the healthiest life style. I don't eat healthy and I don't get enough exercise. My doctor seems to think it impossible that i would have anything worth testing for because of my healthy appearance.
He did run blood tests and listened to my heart. Both seemed normal. I can still jog for a mile or two even though I hardly exercise. Based off of my own research the only thing I can figure is that these are occular migraines, hypertension, or pent up anxiety.
What really worries me is the possibility of a brain tumor. I am however not vomiting and the headaches are painless and seem to onset later in the day rather then early. Diabetis is not a possibility, Im a camel when it comes to urination
Anything you can suggest to me will help. I have plans to go to a doctor again and probably to an eye doctor as well.
