I have been developing this short animation in hopes to pitch it next year to Adult Swim or cartoon network. I have spent a lot of time working on the characters, storyboarding, animating, voice acting, writing, but lately I have been thinking I still have much work ahead of me, and someone may come out with my ideas before I can finish a first whole episode.
What should I do? Would you keep working on your project if you had a lot of time and money invested in it? I really don't know what I would do if someone else had a concept for a science show like this. Maybe I should just work faster, harder, and submit half of what I have? I'm not some teenager hoping to work for pixar, I have an animation studio and the characters I have going on are amazing but I keep getting these feelings that someone else may be creating the same thing.
