So I know that in general, you should never pick at your face because it makes things heal a lot slower and gives you terrible scars. But I've also heard that sometimes when you remove (ie pick off) a scab, oxygen gets to the cut and that helps it heal faster. So if you have a scab from a pimple that is going away, should you pick off the scab? And I know that sometimes if you pick off the scab the skin is pink and healed underneath, and sometimes it bleeRAB. So should you pick it off only if it is healed underneath or all the time or never? I'm confused and just dont want to make my face worse!!

It may seem tempting to pick it off but DON'T pick it off - it will fall off by it self when it is ready.

I pick only when the skin underneath is healed, then it won't leave a dent. Otherwise don't pick. I usually dab some Polysporin there to keep it moist and help the skin heal and minimize any scarring.
