saw the allergist

So I got into the allergist early. I am allergic to a bunch of things, ragweed, cats, etc, and yes, sadly, peanuts. I was most concerned with the food allergy. I still need to be tested for soy, next visit. I also have asthma. I am glad to have the answers, now just need to be careful and get an epi pen. Just knowing helps.

Not sure yet, I was mostly concerned with the food allergies. The seasonal ones are annoying, but not scary. Any recommendations? The allergist thought since I am medicine phobic, the shots would be best.
 
Well, antihistamines every day forever vs 5 years of shots? Only you can say. It takes real dedication to do the shots - and you may have to do them again later in life. I've done them 3 times and I'm 64 now. Would I do them again? Sure, if the need was there. but I sure did hate it!
