Hi evryone,
I have slight degenerative narrowing of the disc space L5-S1 and Spina Bifida Occulta at S1.
Saw the specialist today and he said that both conditions will not affect each other and to take painkillers when needed.
I have been suffering with lower backache and stabbing pains in both sides of my back, also in my legs now and then.
I used to do a heavy manual job which involved lots of lifting and bending but have changed to a more suitable job.
The specialist said that because my pain has settled to leave well alone and see how i get on with my new job. If it flares up again then they will do an MRI scan.
Does anyone know if this condition will get worse over time??
Thanks
