I think they're awesome so piss off

Some screamo or hardcore or something band called Sonic Syndicate opened for them. I didn't understand why Nightwish would've picked that type of band to open for them, but whatever. They were ok, I just don't like that type of music.

Nightwish was awesome tho. It was their last concert in America before they go back home for a while. They did mostly new songs, but Anette sang some older stuff, too (the Siren, Wish I had an Angel, Creek Mary's Blood (the Indian guy came out and played the flute, too!)). Marco and Tuomas did "While Your Lips Are Still Red" which was cool, too.

Anyway, it was a good concert even tho the venue wasn't the best.

I think Nightwish maybe picked them because I think they are from Sweden like Anette and maybe she knows them or something.

I dunno. The thing that annoyed me the most was they (the opening band) announced their "last song" and then played FOUR MORE
 
banRAB very rarely pick the supports. if you're slayer than fine, but you will probably fine the promoters put them on the bill. Not like Nightwish would care anyway, its not like its one of those Co-Headlined bills.

but yeah nightwish are balls :P i saw em a while ago and wasn't overly impressed, i can see the appeal though.
