**NOTE** I have not read or seen anything for Saw 6 yet. Please no spoilers from trailers or anything. I want to see it without knowing anything about it and just want some fun speculation. If you know something important, dont say it. I just want to hear your opinions.
*Saw - very different movie. Caught my eye, and now I'm in love with the series. I do not consider this one when I rank my favorites because it is so much different from the others.
*Saw 2 - I loved this one. My favorite of the series. I thought it was so interesting seeing the group slowly be whittled down to the few who survived.
*Saw 3 - I did not enjoy this one as much. I loved the Jigsaw story part... a lot. But I really hated the traps. I liked the idea of people needing to save themselves to learn their lesson, not people relying on others to save them.
*Saw 4 - Interesting view. This one is my least favorite though. I again hated that the people couldnt save themselves and had to rely on Rigg (in particular, the first girl. the others could save themselves).
*Saw 5 - I loved this one. It went back to the fact that they had to save themselves and I again liked that the group went from 5 to 2. It was interesting to see who survived each room.
My complaints:
*I didnt like how Hoffman was just introduced (almost) out of nowhere in the fourth one to be the new Jigsaw. But I do like how five started to tie him back into the events of the first movies.
*I dont like that there are none of the original characters from the first two or three anymore (alive, that is). I think they are doing a good job tying these characters back into the history, but I would like someone from the originals to be interacting with them. The only two main characters still alive are Jill and Hoffman, right?
*I HATE seeing traps like Jeff's sequence, where the people are helpless and need the other person to save them, as I've stated.
Things I wonder about:
*Where did Jigsaw get the medical supplies? Dr. Gordon?
*What was in the envelope that Amanda got in the third one? Why did it make her cut herself?
*Did the two people from the fatal five trap survive? We see the girl alive briefly, but does she live past that, and does the other guy live as well? I really hope so, I loved their characters.
*What was in the box!!?
I cant think of anything else. Do you have any questions you want answered? What were your favorites? Sorry about the long question. I'm just really excited!
Oh, and just because I have a "complaints" section doesnt mean that I shouldnt have a "likes" section. That section is not stated because I pretty much like everything that I didnt put in the "complaints" section.
