save messages to computer

hi, i have a 6300 and soon im geting a new phone 6120 so i want to transfer all my mesages to the new phone. can anybody help me?

You can use Nokia PC Suite to backup the message from the old phone to a .nbu file and restore to the new phone.

Or if you now only have a .nbu file, you can extract it's content using Noki at nokisoft.com to extract the SMS out as vmg file (vMessage) and copy them to the new phone via PC Suite.
 
thanx alot bro..ive just been trying to install nokia pc suite but its taking ages to do it. gonna try it again and see how far it gets..
