SAT, can I keep my test booklet?

Guess who?

So, I took my SAT for the first time and when the test was over the proctor asked everyone to turn in their answer book (of course) AND their test book. I had been told by an SAT prep instructor that the test booklet is mine, I paid for it, and therefore are allowed to keep it. That way if there is a problem with my scores, I can avoid being screwed over. I didn't make a fuss because I'm not sending my first set of scores to any colleges, but the next time I take the SAT I am going to send the scores off. So, I'd like to know if I can keep the test booklet. Thanks.
P.S. whatever answer you give, please list your source. No offense to anyone, but I'd like to be sure the info is accurate.
