SAT 2 biology retake?

Hello

First off, I want to acknowledge that I don't intend to imply that my score was bad. I received a 770 on the biology M SAT subject test 2009.
My parents, as well as I, were hoping for a 800, considering the effort I put into preparing. I'm a freshman in high school by the way, to become a sophomore.
So we are planning to retake it, but I am unclear as to whether the old score would be canceled after I retook the exam. Also, would top colleges care (even a slightest bit) about a 770 as opposed to a perfect 800?

Why would you retake the biology SAT 2 with a 770? A 770 is so good and I don't think getting an 800 will make a difference in applying to any top college. SAT 2s aren't that big of a factor in the admissions process; sure if you do really will on them (like you have done) colleges will be impressed; however, it does not make a very influential difference in your application. The most important things are: rigor of classes (APs and honors), SAT or ACT scores, GPA, and extra curriculurs. I dont think any top college would care even the slightest bit if you got an 800 over a 770. A 770 definitely shows you know your stuff.
