Sarah Palin, Like Your Cold Sore, Is Never Going Away [Time Tested]

Sarah Palin who, like many people, is probably breathlessly waiting the already-overdue birth of her first grandchild, has another reason for cheer today. A new poll puts her ahead in the 2010 Alaska Senate race.
The poll of 600 Alaskans, conducted by Research 2000 and commissioned by Daily Kos, shows that Palin would whomp current Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski — who earlier tried to warn Palin off a primary run. Furthermore, if Palin vaulted over Murkowski in 2010 and took on (potential but expected) Democratic challenger Tony Knowles — the former governor and the biggest name Democrat in the state at this point — she'd kick his ass, too. No wonder she looks so damn smug.
