Sanyo Xacti VPC-S6 Problems?

I have a Sanyo Xacti VPC-S6 and the screen justs appears to be black when I turn it on. I can view pictures, but I can't snap pictures. And even if I do, even the pictures will be black. How do I solve this problem?
