Back in June I got a Sanyo Xacti VPC-GH2 dual camera. It's monitor can flip upside-down so that it is facing whatever is being taped or photographed, which obviously requires the image to flip upside-down so that it is right-side-up to the viewer. This feature worked wonderfully, up until recently, when the image began not flipping back when I turned the screen back to it's normal position. At first I could just turn it off for a few hours and come back later, turn it on, and it would be okay - annoying, but at least solvable. However, now the image is simply stuck; I've tried everything (safe) to solve it, but it remains upside-down. The monitor itself physically turns fine, and the camera still records and everything, it simply acts as if the screen is still turned to face whatever is being recorded. Is there any way I can fix this? My warranty I'm pretty sure was 90 days and so has obviously ran out, but I'm willing to pay to have it fixed; however, according to Sanyo's site (which is extremely unhelpful, believe me, I've looked all over it and the instruction manual for answers and neither have much in the way of defects or problems), the closest Sanyo place that deals with cameras is in a different state completely. Does anyone know if I am able to mail it anywhere? I can't find ANYTHING on Sanyo's website or anything, though I will try emailing them. Thanks to anything that may help!
