So this summer, me and my friend are planning to ride from San Bernardino to Newport Beach on bikes, via the Santa Ana River Trail. I am aware of the closure from Green Lakes (i think, something like that) Road, to Gypsum Canyon Road. Does anyone know of a suitable detour we could take, where we will not get killed by traffic, so we can bypass that section of the trail? Or is the trail still ridable, if we don't get caught?
