Samsung markets the Galaxy S4 Active as the smartphone that can go camping or to the gym, a device that resists dust and moisture and thus can go "almost anywhere" without getting hurt.
And now AT&T says it's allowing a one-time exchange if your Galaxy S4 Active does, in fact, sustain water damage. The offer comes amid reports that the S4 Active actually hasn't survived after being under water.
The wireless carrier told CNET on Tuesday that Samsung designed and tested the phone for water resistance of 3 feet for up to 30 minutes. However, the operator said, "If your Galaxy S4 Active has been damaged due to water exposure, bring it back to an AT&T retail store as soon as possible for a one-time exchange for another Galaxy S4 Active."
