Samsung Z400 Phone Freeze!!!

Hi there, a customer came in today with a samsung Z400, i know nspro can unlock this model as i have unlocked them before with nspro. The customer had told me that some1 else had already atempted to unlock the phone but no sucess, so i turned the phone on it had no sim card inserted but it came up insert sim. So i inserted a orange uk sim card the phone & the phone just came up Z400 Phone Freeze contact service provider.
Is their any solution to fix this, & can any1 tell me why this comes up? What could have caused this to happen to it???

Does that fix it permently? Do you know what causes this to happen in the first place, surely checking the imei number on a phone cant knacker it up!

the custermer entered to may times the wrong network code
i always get them
