SAMSUNG MINI DV PAL

The LCD Monitor all of a sudden doesn't work and displays nothing but a blank white screen.
When I close the LCD Monitor, the image then appears in the scope part only.
I was thinking of taking the camera apart or just opening it up and maybe trying to rewire something (as I would do with any other electronic product Usually with success), just not sure what the best Idea is at the moment.
I have noticed loads of people with the exact same problem as me and no-one seems to have an answer.
Please help me, I'll be your best friend,
