Samsung u340 Wont Recieve MMS!

I just bought a brand new Samsung u340, and it wont recieve MMS messages, but I can send pictures to people just fine!
On my old phone I was perfectly able to send and recieve MMS.
Anyone know how this can be fixed!

There is a software update that is coming out for the U340 within a couple of weeks. You can't swap the phone out for another U340 because the same thing will happen. It is some sort of weird software glitch. Usually the customers can send & receive pics for up to 2 weeks and then it just stops. Check with your local Cricket corporate store to get more info.
 
Thanks for your reply, its about the best I got in the numerous weeks trying to contact cricket, and see what the problem was.
So when this update comes out, do I just take the phone in and they will do the update for me?

you should--Cricket is supposed to send a txt message to all U340 users when the fix comes out. That roughly translates into "go into your corporate store in a couple weeks to check for yourself". Also, it would help to go in, talk to a manager and see if they can take down your nuraber and call you when it is available.
 
Thanks for all the info... After weeks of trying to get this fixed, I finally got the help I needed here... I will be going in.

just an update. I'm told the flash exists and has been finalized (it is a new .bin with new firmware), but it may not be loaded into all the different store's computers.
 
hmmm Strange.... After about a month of not being able to recieve MMS... Just yesterday, out of nowhere... I was able to start recieving them... Thats strange...
But a good thing! :)
