It's a Samsung LCD (model LN46A550), getting close to a year and half old. I was trying to watch baseball earlier and it was on TBS but suddenly TBS turned to HLN, without changing channels. So I decided just to auto-program the channels again and just look for TBS. It re-programmed my channels and I'm flipping through before it suddenly turns off. Then it turned back on for about 15 seconds before turning back off. It's been doing it consistently for about 2 hours now, and it won't respond to the remote so I have to unplug the power to shut it off. I did that for an hour and turned it back on and its still doing it. I can't figure out what to do but I've looked on CNET and people have said they've had the same problem, something about firmware or capacitors or something. I'm not sure if we're still under warranty, but I don't think so. Now what?
