samsung tocco media player help?

basicly i've got a samsung tocco and i was looking at the pc connections and i saw 3 options
1) samsung pc studio
2) media player
3) mass storage

i tried to put it on the media player option but nothing happens.. what do i have to do? do i have to download anything?
and also what is mass storage?
