I just bought a Samsung TL105, which only holds 4 or 5 photos in the internal memory. I was using a memory card I already had (Lexar SD 128MB, purchased back when I was using a brand-new 2.0MP Kodak), which still had quite a few pictures on it that I had taken with my old camera. I filled the rest of it, and manually copied and pasted the pics to a folder on my desktop, and deleted them from the camera. (I'm using a Mac, and the camera came with Windows software) In addition to all the pictures I would expect, there's also a file on the memory card called "100K4230.LNK" which is listed as UNIX executable file. Now when I reinsert the card into the camera and try to take pictures, it tells me the memory is full. When I try to review pictures, it tells me there are none to display. If I remove the card, there is no problem (other than the size of the internal memory).
Any suggestions? I'm obviously leaning towards just buying a new memory card since this one's not going to hold much, but in the meantime, is there anything I can do?
Thank you! I just formated the card and it works fine now. Of course, it only has capacity for 27 pictures, but at least I have that.
