Hello, I was hoping you guys could help, It's a bit of an emergency.
Here's the setup:
1 old desktop with a samsung syncmaster 933 (winxp) (referred to as desktop)
1 dell studio 17 (win7) (referred to as dell)
1 emachines mini (win7) (referred to as mini)
What happened:
I took the Samsung monitor and plugged it into the dell for some dual screen action. When i was finished i had to put the monitor back to the desktop, that's where it happened. The monitor does not display anything, either that or it just displays black when plugged into the desktop. if i pull out the cable it will say check signal cable.
If i put the monitor back to the dell its fine, if i try using the mini, its fine.
I have tried plugging it into the mini and tweaking the setting, i figured it was a refresh rate issue or a resolution issue but nothing is working.
