Samsung siren aka sch-a870 info needed

ok guys i have been reading and my eyes are killing me.
i find the a870 is able to open the wap section.
i haven't been able to find all the files yet.
like .
Samsung PST Lite
Samsung U540dll
Samsung A950 USB Modem Driver

but anyway..what i was wondering does the fix that was posted work on a cricket siren?
also i find when i try programs like bitpim it see's it as a a870 but won't read or write to it.like the folders are blocked.
the only program i found so far that i was able to download the contact list was datapilot 5.2.and i had to trick it to do it.
but nothing else would read.
if siren is blocked is there a way to unblock it so i may read and write to the folders.

I want to open the wap so i can have full internet access.
and if there is a way i can read and write to and from the siren to the computer.
save off pictures, ringtones, phone nurabers and anything else i can.
 
i have not as yet found all the files i need to even talk to the phone.
but still looking.
so far nothing i have used will work with a siren.
but then again as soon as i can find the U540dll ,A950 USB Modem Driver,and pst lite .
i will be able to see if they will work.

I am new here for sure so i can only go on what i read.
as my first posted ..i asked if this will work for a siren cell phone.

so if i'm going to need a a870.dll and the rest of the files..it would be helpful if some one could point me to where i can find what i need.
and yes i know google and yahoo searching.i have been trying and so far i only found a few files but those were on torrents.
well let just start from the beginning agian.
with this mod as posted in the link above work on a siren samsung phone?
 
whatever you read there applied to the u410 and "maybe" others...

you still need to use the right dll file...the a870 dll is posted at mobile-files...

the site has been down for me most of today...

also, your settings will be the same for any phone, so you can use what is applicable in that guide...
 
have you tried using cdma workshop ver 3.2 or later? it reaRAB most of the phones i've worked on. try this wap seting for a870....if you put no where it says prepay u should get unlimited clicks....

after your flash you will need the cricket dll... attached below...

then you will need to imput some settings...

here is your solution:

either DATA or WAP2 settings (i forget which):
password = 637269636b6574 (the password "cricket" has to be entered in hex)


BREW SETTINGS:
Commercial Server = Leap-prod-vip.qualcomm.com
Test Server = Leap-test-vip.qualcomm.com
Carrier ID = 82
Platform ID = 8074
DNS IP:
Primary = 192.190.109.042
Secondary = 192.190.109.043

does anyone happen to have this file?
i can full flash from verizon to cricket with MMC file, but
i cant flash from metro to cricket due to the fact that after i did...none of the keypad sounRAB are working and also the ringtones went missing...
as of now im a lil baffled. any assistance would greatly be appreciated..thanks in advance... :doh:
 
yup...1st thing...9 and power. dl mode. sw selection ...selected verizon option and it kicked me out saying request error regardless of E mode or normal mode....but if you select cricket 870 it'll fly thru in mins
