Part Time Mime

Ok so when I originally joined this forum it was with hopes of getting a program to put on my phone to use msn on it. But after doing some reading I'm near possotive its impossible.
Oh yeah
I have cricket service and live in salt lake city Utah, i have the sch-r500 Samsung phone and its not modded in any way.
But anyway, I sturabled onto a way to get to msn and have been logged on and talking for a few weeks with it.
in the Browser>email/chat> msn
From that I Selected home, and then messenger and logged on.
Now this would be just fine with me, since I bookmarked that page itself, so all I have to do is open the browser and then select the page and it auto logs me in and I'm ready to talk. :silly:
The only problem is you have to refresh to receive a message. It gets annoying and difficult to keep up with conversations.
So my question is, is there a way to force the phone to refresh automatically with out having it stop you from typing.
any help would be much appreciated.

P.S. Can some one either tell me or point me in the direction of what EVDO is? I'm not afraid to read xD but I need to know were. :hehehe:
