samsung rogue question?

After i send a text my phone goes back to the chat with whoever im texting, but when i get the next text from them my phone doesn't vibrate.

however, if its on the main screen prior to getting a text, it will vibrate three times.


so what im saying is that i want it to vibrate when i get a text when its on the chat thing, if that makes sense.

any help?
