I have made it into the right format to put into my phone. I plugged my phone into my pc, dragged the right file into the "100SSMED" folder. it was in my phone under my MEMORY CARD. NOT my "phone" option.
I have done 2 different ways of assigning:
I've gone under settings, selected sounds, selected ringer type, selected incoming calls, selected from "my videos", selected "memory card", then clicked assign.
^what that did was whenever someone called me, it went back to the set ringtone which is "the floor", even though it said it saved it & I pressed assign.
then, I selected "photos", then "my albums", then "memory card", then the green thing that when I play is my ringtone (it's with my pictures), then select options, then select assign, then voice calls, then caller ID.
^that did the same thing as above. "the floor" played when I tested it by calling from my house.
each time this happened, I checked the settings again & it just went right back to "the floor". why is this happening? it's really just annoying & I'm veryyyyyyyyyyyyy frustrated
