Samsung PN59D6500 vs Panasonic TC-P55GT30?

My old Rear-projection Mitsubishi burned out for the last time (after having to replace the bulk once), something else happened this time internally and I don't even want to both with it.

After spending numerous hours researching, I have decided to go the route of a plasma

This time around I'm sticking on a tighter budget, around ~$1500. I don't feel like spending a load with all of the new technology that will arise in the coming years (yes, I realize it could be 5-10 years before there are any major advancements).

The TV will be used for the normal really, mainly watching TV (on the main-floor living room, which is bright, but can be dimmed significantly when the blinds are closed), watching movies, and gaming as well.

After lurking around here, and a few other places, I saw that Panasonic and Samsung were the top two brands for plasmas. From what I read, Panny's have the anti-glare panel, use better plasmas, generally have deeper blacks and have better shadow detail, have better response time while gaming, sound better and is resistant to IR/burn-in; while on the other hand, Sammy's generally have truer colors, has more internet features and ultimately cost less and look better ;). To be honest, before writing this list I was leaning more so for the Sammy, but now I'm looking at the Panny; maybe I'm just drawing a blank on other advantages for the Sammy right now. I'm not really worried about the amount of components on each, since the difference is small.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
