Hopelessly Confused

Hi I have a few questions about the Samsung Moment:
1. On my call log my call history is all randomly placed like a call I placed hours ago is the first on the list and calls I placed minutes ago are in the middle and calls placed hours ago are at the end.
2. The same thing above is going on with my text messaging.
Can anyone help me put my call log and messaging in chronological order?
