I bought 15 months ago a Led Samsung and while I was watching the news on the 31st of Dec the screen froze and then started from bottom to up to show only black lighten pixels while there was a weird fussing noise near the touch buttons and to be more precise the on/off button.
The tv is plugged in 2 high volt protection plugs (costed 70 euros each) and has never been cleaned with anything else than the special lcd liquid and antistatic rug. Has NOT been over used or anything while I prefer watching movies with PS3 due to the upscale or using my WD HD media.
I bought a Led because I was told that it was better over all and had a low (non existent almost) risk of burn in... what the hell happened?
In short: Black Screen, No sound from Tv but ok from the digital audio connected to a 5.1 system and that annoying hissing almost sound near the touch buttons....
