I have a Samsung LE32B550 which I have had from new since February of this year.
Whenever there is a black object moving across a light background, you'll get a either a smudge of black or multiples of the black shape will stay on the screen for a few moments.
For example, when watching Family Guy, whenever Brian moves, his nose will appear lots of times in the trail he is moving in.
My parents also have the same model TV at their house, and it also has the problem although not as bad. It also happens on TV and HDMI sources, running at native resolution (1080p).
I've tried updating the firmware, and resetting the TV to factory settings and still no joy.
Is there anything I can change in the advanced picture settings, or will it have to go back to Samsung for a look?
PS. I know some of you techies out there know that Samsung seem to use 3 different panels in some of their TVs. I have checked the details on the sticker on my TV and it has a Samsung panel in it, not one of the cheaper ones.
Thanks to anyone who can help, a well deserved 10 points is yours!
