Samsung Intensity SCH-U450, unrecognized device on Vista.?

Alright, So I've got the samsung intensity, and it refused to download the drives onto my computer. (Windows Vista). The menu will pop up, and it loads for a sec, but doesn't allow the phone to upload to my computer, telling me the device is unrecognized. How do I get my computer to recognize the device so the drives can be installed?
