Samsung Instinct no service after flash to Cricket

I have a Samsung Instinct that will not connect to the phone network not matter which PRL file I use. Please help! I have used 1040, 1050, 1042, 1039 etc. I can dial *228 and I get you must dial 10 digits message from cricket. I did the programming using the ##000000# with the phone nuraber and min and that didn't work either. It's like the phone has no signal strength. Any takers??

Let me guess, you have a signal, then tada when you make a call it goes away and you get the infamous X. The way I fixed it was to do a factory reset. Settings, reset, reset phone. It'll erase contacts, pics, whatever is on there, but when it boots up you'll be good to go.
 
Hey this thread is a couple months old but I actually have the same problem except nothing ever works. Did every kinda reset there is for this phone and still nothing. I never get any service not even for a second. Always just the x. Also I have tried reverting to sprint prl and back to cricket again. Any Ideas or maybe somebody has the same problem. I am thinking it is probably hardware related unfortunately
 
Put your prl on there and you will have to manual program the min and mdn or you will have this problem. You can us qpst or cdma ws or on phone dial ##3484# and program that way. Once done you can actully dial 611 and get cricket and not loose signal when placing a call. Instincts are relaly tricky.
