Samsung Impression phantom text?

I have the same phone, and I've noticed some strange problems and they have all been fixed by me restarting the phone, hold down the hang up button and wait for it to turn off, then wait around 30 seconds and turn it back on, If this doesn't help contact ATnT support.

I have had the phone for about 2 weeks now and today it just started giving me two alerts for each text message. The first is a phantom, it doesn't actually show up with the text, a minute or so later i get a second alert that comes with the message. Anyone know how to fix this?
