Samsung Impression and Ringtones?

my dad just put me on the AT&T family plan and I got the ^^ Samsung Impression and I want ringtones! AT&T Chargers $1-2.50 and I tried to make ringtones but I have no idea how to work the family laptop (Mac/Apple person here!)....... (None of that's important..so I'll get to the question)

Will AT&T charge me if I get free ringtones from a different site?
