1 - MMS, i think i can't send mms, because i730 does not have a MMS software solution like Arcsoft Composer.... i downloaded many "cabs" with different "Composers" from other phones, but every time i load the program, the phone starts acting strange, i mean, lock-up, or everything blinks, or does not even work (versions 1.2 and below).. i guess it is a hardware issue, or just the fact of do not have a client made for it....
2 - Flash the phone....since its a ppc, the only thing it neeRAB to be done... is upload the cricket prl, using SamsungPST with the files for i730..., in order to get internet working, you just need to input the information, just like you did with 6700...thank you for that post! (network connections), and using SamsungPST, you need to update the PPP login information
[email protected], password: cricket.... and theres some other hacks like changing the operator banner (from verizon to cricket), etc....The phone works like a charm....internet is really fast (google hack), you can send and check e-mails through the web clients etc...., text messages worked out of the box, picture id, sms and call blocker, distinctive ringtone, wi-fi, bluetooth, etc..... i use iexplorer for cricket wap, and opera browser for wi-fi connections..., anyway, even without mms, im really happy with i730...
