Samsung HT-X40 dvd player keeps cutting out?

I have a Samsung HT-X40 DVD Home Theater hooked up to my Sony Bravia HDTV. The DVD's end up playing for a few minutes, but then the picture cuts out. There is still audio when this happens, just no picture. I have to unplug my HDMI cable in the back and replug it in to get the picture back. Any ideas as to why this is happening and how I can fix it?
