I have a technical problem with my TV, the problem is that it wont turn on lamp light keeps on flicking, had the same problem few months ago but i replace the lamp my self because my warranty expired, it worked fine for like a month than the same thing happened. I am hearing hissing sound and see sparks from the back (thinking Ballast trying to turn the lamp but it cant ). Right before i installed the lamp the first time i did make sure than their is no dust in any vents or other places were would cause the lamp to die quicker, but i guess that didn't work. So my question is should i focus my attention on the lamp again or do i got to see if its the ballast?
