samsung gravity T help!!!!?

so i have the gravity T, and i always have it on silent or vibrate but i got a new ringtone so now i want it on full volume but when i put it on pull volume, and press a buttton, it makes a noise and i wanna turn that noise off without it being on silent or vibrate! HELPPPP!!!
