Ok, so I purchased a Galaxy S Captivate like 2 weeks ago and I checked the software update option and it says it has a new update, I selected to see what it is but started downloading itself and I interrumped it...My questions are: Which update is this? Is it the 2.3 froyo? What's the gingerbread update I've read about? Should I proceed the update? Sorry, about all these questions, I'm a new user discovering about her phone since I've been reading a lot about root procedures, Launcher Pro, features and other stuff. I'm a fast learner!
