Samsung ES15 keeps saying the batteries have run out?

I have a Samsung ES15 (purchased off Amazon) and ever since I've had it (3 months), it says it has run out of batteries after replacing them and using the camera for about 20 minutes. Has it actually run out of batteries or is it broken?
P.S I am using good quality batteries eg; Philips
